This is a 1987 Spider Veloce, it was my Mom's. She gave me my first Alfa when I was 18. I gave her this car 20 years ago. This is the "little old lady who only drove it to Alfa events only" car. When she got the car from the original owner it needed an engine overhaul. I overhauled (I'm a factory trained Alfa mechanic) the engine at 100,000. The car currently has 127,500 miles on it. The speedo says 70,550 because the one in the car now is a used replacement speedo.This car runs and drives great and should pass an emission tests. CHROME exhaust HEADERS were installed. There are KONI shocks and COMPETITION SPRINGS on the car. Front suspension rebuilt two years ago. The oil and filter were just changed a month ago but the car has not been driven. Now for the imperfections: The convertible top is in excellent shape except for a split in the rear plastic window. The spare tire wheel well will need to be repaired. There is a small amount of rust on the drivers floor around the body plug hole, it is very minor. The dash has cracks on the top of it but a dash cap from Centerline should do just fine. The body looks great and so does the paint, however there are small impressions on the top of both front fenders. 'Paint-less dent repair should be able to fix that without bodywork. The air conditioning does not work. The drivers seat leather near the drivers left leg is shrinking. The stitches have broken, this is repairable. You can take care of these issues over time and still drive it now. I have set a very low reserve so I expect it to sell. I'm moving and it needs to go away. Good Luck.
