Recently acquired this European 280SL, 2 tops, purchased sight unseen, seller omitted the tell me about the truth condition of the vehicle !!! Need some light body work (One side rocker panel where the jack point is, inner fender, and left quarter and trunk lid) VIN : WDB1070421200169 This is what I know of about the overall condition, and please examine all pictures: Need a paint job, rust spots as pictured, windshield is cracked, dash , dirty, very low original miles. Good engine, new starter, transmission good, new fuel pump, good battery, runs, mechanically sounds good, electrical is good. Overall an interesting project that would not need to much to make it a nice collectible. 2 owners only. Vehicle located in Fort Lauderdale FL. Since of the age I recommend to have it transported by a reputable carrier. Sold AS IS, no warranty, vehicle is 37 years old is a collectable.
