Recently acquired this European 280SL, purchased sight unseen, seller omitted the tell me about the truth condition of the vehicle !!! Therefore Im selling the little guy as a PROJECT, fair and clear cut ! VIN : WDB1070421200169 This is what I know of about the overall condition, and please examine all pictures: Need a paint job, rust spots as pictured, windshield is cracked, dash , dirty, very low original miles. Good engine, new starter, transmission good, new fuel pump, good battery, runs, mechanically sounds good, electrical is good. Overall an interesting project that would not need to much to make it a nice collectible. 2 owners only. Vehicle located in Fort Lauderdale FL. Since of the age I recommend have it transported by a reputable carrier. Sold AS IS, no warranty, vehicle is 37 years old is a collectable. Deposit with paypal, $500 and remainder can be Paypal as well, or ACH transfer. I require a few days notice for pick up arrangements, if the car need to stay in storage after the 1st week is $100 a month.
