Vehicle Detail

1973 International 3/4T 1210 Camper Special. 392 V8 with 4-bbl Holley carb, (Torqueflite) auto. trans., R.H., A/C, P.S., P.B. Empty weight is approx. 5300 lbs. Has saddle gas tanks (left side not used), trailer brakes (on truck but never used by me).Has trailer hitch. Factory shop manuals, Owner's manual, all service receipts dating back to `80s. I have owned this truck for 12 years (since 2004). The previous owner was a good friend who bought it in 1982. It has been well maintained. It drives well and it is a very heavy duty truck with overload springs and trailer brakes (previous owner sometimes pulled a car-hauling trailer). It has always served me well and reliably, having once hauled over 2 tons of broken concrete without any noticeable settling (thanks to the heavy springs). It is a real truck! To the best of my knowledge, it has always lived in Santa Barbara, CA. The longest I have driven it was a 500 mile round trip to San Diego area 3 years ago. It performed well with no trouble at all. I use it very little these days which is my reason for selling it. Mechanics are good (oil pressure good, runs cool, brakes well, steers well). Cosmetics are fair, as shown. Minor ding in right rear quarter as shown. Right end of front bumper slightly bent. One rear hubcap missing. Has sliding rear window (access to camper/bed). Seat reupholstered and very comfortable. Seat belts. Basically, it is a very functional, reliable truck with a lot of service life left. Minor cosmetic issues which don't affect functioning. ISSUES:-As with many Internationals of this vintage, this one has some rust issues which I have tried to show. The worst is on the right and left door jambs although it does not affect the functioning of the doors. Also hole under right of windshield which I have taped over. -Missing one rear hubcap. -Lower support for driver's side o/s mirror is broken, but doesn't affect mirror stability. -Left saddle tank inoperable at this time. Running off the right tank was all I needed for my use. -Not sure if the A/C is working as I have not used it lately. If you have any questions, feel free to call Jeff Paley @ (805) 687-6173.On Jan-07-16 at 15:35:26 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE ON ISSUES: 1/7/16 I was able to find a new lower mirror support to replace the broken one mentioned above. Also found a better mirror without hazing. I installed new plugs, points, condenser, rotor and cap. Found some extra parts such as new radiator hoses, some engine gaskets, and new distributor cap which will be included. On Jan-08-16 at 16:46:05 PST, seller added the following information: Comes with 2 trailer hitches (units that slide into the hitch receptacle below rear bumper), each with different size ball.
