Vehicle Detail
1974 Plymouth Roadrunner. This is a beautiful cruise night driver. This car drives straight and runs cool. Has one repaint. Door Jambs, trunk, engine bay all original paint. This car is believed to have 31,000 on it. I cannot confirm it but it just looks right. All body panels original. Gaps are nice. Int. is all original except the front seat cover. Dash, gages, headliner all very nice. Car drives and shift great no hesitation. I have 2 built sheets. Cool Color Avocado Gold. Really a green color. I just changed the oil with Lucas 20/50 Hot Rod Oil, Lucas 80/90 in the rear diff, new prestone in radiator. This is a factory hood pin car, factory dual chrome mirror car. Factory AC car, Ac is not hooked up. Car has a six barrel set up to look as if it was a factory option in 74. Runs great. Carbs and intake where new when put on a few years ago. This car is not perfect but a great cruise night car. Drove it Mopar Show at Carlisle PA this year about 300 miles each way not problem, it was a pleasure to drive. you do not have to worry about another Avocado Gold Roadrunner at a show. I have not seen another. Car get a lot of looks and people love chatting about it. Even hard core Mopar guys like me its just that cool. I just put on a set of US Mags New. 15x7 - 235/70-15 front, 15x8 - 275/60-15 Rear. Look very cool Tires were put on after Carlisle so I have about 200 miles on them. I also put on new rear leaf spring this summer I had a set for a 73-74 new put them on car sit perfect just right.Car has had upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm. Also has a AM/FM Radio all rebuilt cost $500 works great! One small issue it has is some small bubbles on the pass side quarter behind door. I took a picture. This is a real great Mopar. I have had about 85 nice Mopars and this is a great one. All body panels are original and done not look to have ever been off. Doors, truck and hood close and open beautiful! The Paint job is a nice driver quality job. Not a show car, but very respectable for a cruise night. Car rides smooth and is pleasant to drive. The color combo with the hood pins, dual chrome racing mirrors, and black stripes look very cool. Great cruise night car you can get into with over spending on a E-body. This car is 41 years old and is Sold As Is Where Is. Please ask questions or call. This is a no reserve auction so someone is going to be the new owner! Please call 203-414-1274 Rudy with questions.
