Vehicle Detail
I'm currently buying a house and could use some closing cost money. I do not want to part with her, but...sometimes you have to do what you have to do, even if it's a loss. This bike is worth $4,500 in the spring or summer. They are legendary bikes. 750cc. **Please note that this bike will not be available until on or after January 9th.** I bought this bike last summer. It's extremely straight and unblemished. I have installed new, lower height progressive spring (I still have the original, taller one) and have had it tuned, new battery installed and fluids changed. It includes cargo boxes which are BMW original. There's not a scratch on her. The only cosmetic blemish is the right side BMW emblem on the tank is worn. I've had the spline inspected and properly lubed. The original owner did the same and documented it. Everything works. I also have nice gel replacement grips as the foam ones on it are not very good. I'm currently living/working outside of Pittsburgh, so this would need to happen on January 9th when I'm in town. The title is clear and absolutely everything works. The only thing left to work through is it occasionally wants to die if you rev her up fast and let off the throttle. I've been told that this is a vacuum leak at the throttle issue and it may be a recall that is covered. I've been riding it fine and avoiding the issue by not revving it up quickly and dropping the throttle. It's literally clean from the top to bottom. It was owned by an older gentlemen before me and he kept service records which are included. It also comes with a tool kit and original tire repair kit. Message me if you are interested. Please ask questions before you bid. Don't bid unless you are serious. Thanks, KrisOn Dec-23-15 at 09:43:30 PST, seller added the following information: Please note that there are pictures showing two different seats. The black, saddle like seat has been replaced with an original blue seat that is more flat and streamlined. I no longer have the black seat. I needed it to be a bit lower. Look close at the pics and you can see that it's a very clean bike. Even the underside is clean. I haven't noticed a single leak yet either. Absolutely everything works, including all gauges and functions. This bike does not have ABS, but I believe you could upgrade it since they added that on later models. On Dec-23-15 at 12:03:13 PST, seller added the following information: Just added a picture of the left side with one of the cargo boxes taken off. They come off quite easy and they lock. I have two spares for the ignition and spares for the boxes. The forks also lock with the same key, as does the seat and helmet hook. On Dec-28-15 at 10:52:41 PST, seller added the following information: Again, I will not be in Pittsburgh until after the 9th of January. I would prefer to meet and transfer title and provide the bike on January 16th. I am living in New Orleans, so it takes a bit to travel up. I can't express how nice this bike is for it's age. The pictures are completely accurate. It is in a dry garage and under a cover. Also, someone asked if this is a K75S. I don't believe it is. It's either a C or T? Hell if I know. On Dec-28-15 at 17:17:17 PST, seller added the following information: I have booked a flight to Pittsburgh for the weekend of January 16th. I can make the motorcycle available that day. I would need to have a cleared check or cash to release both the bike and title. The title is clear and in hand. If you absolutely wanted it sooner, you would have to book me a flight. If you plan on shipping it, I can facilitate the pickup on the 16th, but shipping will be your responsibility. So, if you are successful, expect to meet me on Jan 16th. Do not bid if you are not serious and don't plan on following through. I will require a deposit of $500 through paypal within 48 hours per the bid. Thanks, Kris
