1974 Porsche 914 2.0 Appearance Group. I acquired this car from an estate along with 2 other 914's as a package deal. I don't need three so am selling two of them. This car has been in dry storage for numerous years and does not currently run but does turn over freely by hand. It has dual Dellorto carbs, Stainless steel heat exchangers, real Fuchs, nice center console and European tail lights. It appears to be all there and most of the electrical does work but I do not have the time to sort out it's issues. It does steer fine, clutch engages, transmission goes through the gears, brakes do operate but will need attention. Obviously from the photos, this 914 was originally orange and much of the under side and engine compartment are nicely preserved. The black paint job is OK but not great. There is a small area of rust right behind the rear passenger seat at the floor but the longitudinals are very sound. The underside of the floor is in great shape and the hell hole has some rust but not bad (see photos). The doors shut fine and the glass is all good except the front windshield has a wiper scrape. The interior needs some work and the dash pad was glued down although the cracks don't look that bad underneath. I do not have any history on this car. I have applied for title through the Michigan DMV and am awaiting receipt of a clear Michigan title which will be provided to winning bidder as soon as I receive it. Car is stored inside and will remain so until picked up by winning bidder Please look at the photos and ask questions if you have them. On Dec-18-15 at 13:10:17 PST, seller added the following information: I have had lots of questions about the title and the condition of the motor so I want to clarify: The original title was lost so I have applied for a new title. I do not have it yet and it will most likely not arrive before the auction end. I had to put up an $8400 surety bond with the Michigan DMV to guarantee a clear title and I have documentation to verify. I will provide that documentation and a bill of sale at the end of auction. I will FedEX the clear title to the winning bidder as soon as I receive it. I do not know the condition of the motor other than it does turn over by hand. I'm selling the car just as I received it. I have not had time to go through the car and sort everything out and can not answer questions as to why it currently does not run. I do not know and that is why I'm selling with no reserve. It may be simple or it may not but I'm selling AS-IS with no warranties or guarantees. Anyone is welcome to come and check it out in person before auction end. Thanks for your interest.
