For sale is my 1997 BMW R1100GS with ABS. I've ridden it all of twice this year, so it needs to go to someone who will use it. It's in decent condition for a bike of its age. It starts right up, has newer tires with plenty of tread, and would easily take someone on an adventure. It comes with Micatech Pilot hard luggage and aftermarket LED running lights - I use these during the day to make myself more noticeable. I use Red Line oil and transmission/final drive fluid, which didn't get any real use this year. I'll also include a Battery Tender and whatever spare parts I have around. Öhlins shocks are installed. The seat is a custom job with lots of cushion for long hauls. It also comes with a shop manual. It has had two parking lot tip-overs which dinged the tank on both sides. It does not leak, and is fully functional. I have a larger R1150GSA tank which fits this bike. It's freshly painted, and comes with the BMW roundels. I'll be listing this separately in short order. For you out-of-towners, I'll gladly deliver this to Watertown or Plattsburgh, NY free of charge as long as there's a day without snow when I can ride/transport. Or, you can pick it up yourself or arrange for transport from zip code 13668. Payment will need to clear beforehand for any of these options. I offer no warranty; the bike is sold as-is. It's 18 years old, and isn't a show bike. A $500 deposit through PayPal is required within 24 hours. The remaining payment must be made by USPS Money Order or certified bank check.
