Note: Please be aware of the following: This truck’s frame is extremely low to the ground, and will rub on the slightest variance in road surface. Also this truck must be loaded onto a trailer or car hauler manually as there are no rear brakes. The truck can’t be driven without continual burnouts with every blower surge at idle and is very difficult to control. Actually, it scares the crap out of me. I have a clear North Carolina title in my name. The vehicle is titled as “non-operational” due to lack of exterior lighting, windshield gasket, etc. Terms Please make an appointment to see in person or have inspected by a third party, and ask questions for clarification prior to bidding, as we do not want ANY unhappy buyers. Please do not bid unless you are prepared to pay for this vehicle within 5 total days of winning the auction. A non-refundable $500.00 deposit required within 24 hours of winning. Balance due via cash or wire transfer, with funds cleared before vehicle will be released. Although it is the winning bidder’s responsibility to arrange to have this vehicle picked up, we will gladly assist in loading at no charge. Although you’ll be happy with this vehicle, it is being sold “As-is, no warranty of any kind, written or implied”. I have many years of experience shipping worldwide, and will gladly accommodate the carrier / freight forwarder of your choice.Q&A:1. Can the ride height be raised: Yes, airbags will do the trick nicely. Currently all steel springs, so an easy fix.2. Can this become a street legal driver: Yes. Depending on your state requirements, this could happen. Basic electrical wiring for lighting, signals and horn, rear brakes, seat padding and covers, windshield and rear glass rubber, side windows and door locking mechanisms. Gauges to match local requirements (speedo, etc.) would also be needed. I think a cooling fan on the engine side of the radiator will also be required. This should be enough to get the vehicle down the road - although likely a very entertaining commute!!3. Does the body have body filler?: Yes, absolutely. Areas were previously repaired, so everything was sandblasted leaving previous repairs intact. The 2-part epoxy was sprayed over the exterior sheetmetal just to seal what was there and prevent surface rust. The body has signs of previous rust through such as can be seen in the bottom of the doors, but after blasting, the holes remain and have not been repaired. No new rust through exists. The body has dents and has not been straightened, although the trim holes have been welded up as mentioned in the ad. The magic of this truck is everything EXCEPT the body, but you can't drive a bare chassis without a body, so there you have it.4. Does the engine run? Yes, the engine fires and will rev without any unusual engine knocks, etc., but it has NOT been tuned or tweaked, and since this is a dual carb blower setup, there will definitely be tuning required. The carb float levels and idle screws have not been tweaked, timing has not been adjusted, etc. It's a cranky setup at the moment, as all efforts have been spent elsewhere on this vehicle, and not on detailed tuning. The MSD adjustable spark timing inside the cab is a neat feature, and should make the process easier. A video of the engine running can be found on youtube. Search under REDNICKELDOG and you will find the video. On Dec-07-15 at 17:03:52 PST, seller added the following information: To answer a couple bidder questions, all of the performance components on this truck are 100% new and have ZERO miles on them. (Wheels, tires, ignition, rear end, trans & shifter, blower, carbs, nitrous, and most all other painted / shiny stuff). Thanks for looking -On Dec-12-15 at 05:54:22 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE: 12-12-2015: I made the decision to lower the reserve price, as my work schedule simply does not allow the necessary time to complete this project. Good luck bidding, thanks again for the interest.
