1956 VW Single Cab Pickup Truck Type II Volkswagen This is a very Rare 1956 VW Single Cab Pickup Truck Type II Volkswagen I am the second owner of this truck. It was restored a few years ago. The engine is a 1600 cc built up to a 1776 cc with a mild cam. Nothing fancy to the engine. Just a good strong runner. Typical oil leakage. It still has the wide 5 drum brakes. It has an adjustable front axle beam. 1967 bus swing arm and stub axles. Conversion kit from BUS BOYZ for the rear suspension. It had all new major parts put on when we restored it … brakes, fuel lines, shocks, cables, lights, seals, etc. It has safari windows. 15" EMPI wheels. All of the gates fold down. Converted to 12 volt. I have the original canopy metal hoops and wooden slats. Also included are some of the original parts … 36 horse power engine (not running) and the transmission with gear reduction. This truck has been painted intentionally to make it look weathered, old, rusty and used. This is sold As Is with no claims of warranty.This truck drives great. It has a clear PA title.
