This car was supposedly bought new at Nickey Chevrolet in Illinois. It still has its Illinois title and 1969 Illinois license plate from when it was new, but I have no documentation that it was sold at Nickey (NOT claiming a Nickey prepped car, just that it was sold at the dealership, which is cool). The old Illinois title shows the correct taxable horsepower indicating a 396 from the factory. This is a 1969 SS 396 nova, 4 speed, with the original color being a rare rallye green with a black bench seat interior. Was originally a 4 speed car and still has the pedal hanging. It still has a 12 bolt rear, SS steering wheel, and front disc brakes. True mileage is unknown as the gauge cluster was changed out at one point. The body on the car is pretty nice overall, with the rear quarter having already been replaced. The front lower quarters have a few small bubbles in them. The floor and trunk are actually pretty nice but for the holes cut for a roll bar when it was being drag raced. As you can see in the pics, the doors, and rockers are nice, along with the front end structure. The worst part of the car is the left rear frame rail, which has rot and will need patched or replaced. The passenger side doesn't look too bad. I do not have a front clip for the car, nor do I have any engine or trans. There is some trim inside the car that goes with it. Car is missing parts, obviously, but everything is available, especially if you pick up a donor 4 door. It would definitely be one of the sweetest Novas around in this paint color.
