The vehicle currently has 71,852 miles and 7,179 engine idle hours as of November 2015 when it was removed from service as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The tires have approximately 40 – 50% tread remaining. The check engine light is illuminated and the car appears to idle a little rougher at initial start up. No diagnosis of cause/issue has begun. The exterior is in fair condition. The hood has some minor, light scratches present. The driver side headlamp assembly has condensation present. The driver door & door molding has multiple minor light scratches/dings present. The driver side rear door & door molding also has multiple minor light scratches/dings present. The roof has four (4) plugged & sealed holes present from where police lighting/emergency equipment was previously mounted. The trunk lid has some light scratches present. The rear bumper has multiple scratches/dings present. The passenger side rear door & door molding has multiple minor light scratches/dings present. The passenger side front door & door molding also has multiple minor light scratches/dings present. The interior is in fair condition. There is a screw hole present in the dash to the right of the steering column. There are 2 rectangular cutouts in the b-pillar trim from where the center prisoner cage was previously mounted. The driver’s seat bottom & seat back has some tears in it from normal wear. The backs of both front seatbacks have some small rectangular indentations/tears from the seat rubbing against the prisoner cage when installed. There is one screw hole and one small cut in the center portion of the floorboard between the front seats from where the police center console was previously mounted. There is an indentation in the headliner from where the prisoner cage was mounted. This vehicle was serviced on a 60-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Aug 2015 at 68,819 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In June 2015, at 67,493 miles, the right rear axle shaft, axle seal, & wheel bearing for replaced. The right rear brake assembly hardware was cleaned & axle fluid changed. In Feb 2015, at 60,333 miles, the right front headlamp bulb, wiring pigtail & all four tires were replaced. In Dec 2014, at 57,067 miles, the driver side headlamp bulb was replaced. In Oct 2014, at 53,413 miles, the left rear axle seal, wheel bearing, rear brake pads, rear brake rotors, & the left front rack & pinion boot were replaced. Also, the vehicle had an alignment performed. In Sep 2014, at 52,854 miles, the driver side headlight bulb & headlight assembly retainer ring were replaced. In early Sep 2014, at 52,163 miles, both left side tires & rims were replaced due to being bent. In Jun 2014, at 48,341 miles, the airbag jewel module was replaced & the right rear tire was repaired. In Mar 2014, at 45,080 miles, the left side headlight bulb & wiring pigtail were replaced. In Feb 2014, at 43,793 miles, the right side headlight bulb was replaced. In Dec 2013, at 42,783, blower motor & transmission filter were replaced. Also, the transmission fluid was flushed. In Oct 2013, at 41,997 miles, the vehicle had a recall repair performed at the local Ford dealership (Recall # 13S08). Also in Oct 2013, at 41,990 miles, the battery & all four tires were replaced. In Apr 2013, at 32,804 miles, the left front marker light bulb & upper brake light bulb were replaced. In Dec 2012, at 25,651 miles, the left rear tire & trunk lid trim molding were repaired. In Oct 2012, at 20,509 miles, three tires were replaced. Also in Oct 2012, at 20,277 miles, the front brake pads & front rotors were replaced. In Aug 2012, the vehicle had an alignment performed. In July 2012, at 16,015 miles, the left front tire was replaced. Also in July 2012, the water pump was replaced under warranty by the local Ford dealership. In Apr 2012, at 7,428 miles, the driver side door lock actuator and door ajar switch were replaced under warranty by the local Ford dealership. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
