I am selling my unfinished project-1965 Ford Mustang. This 50 year old American muscle car only has 102,000 miles on it, but the engine and transmission have both been rebuilt since I purchased this car roughly 18 months ago. The engine has less than 10k miles on it since its rebuild and the transmission has less than 15k miles on it since its rebuild. Everything on this car works great. Its powerful engine starts and runs very strong. Modifications and upgrades include: Flat top pistons (higher compression=premium gasoline) Ford Racing double roller timing chain Ford Racing aluminum timing chain cover Champion 3-core aluminum radiator Pertronix Flamethrower III distributer with electronic ignition Pertronix Flamethrower ignition coil Pertronix Flamethrower 8mm performance plug wires Ford Racing air filter and air filter housing Electric choke added to original 2 barrel carburetor Cylinder heads were ported, and valve seats were replaced with hardened seats to perform better with today's unleaded gasoline The tires and breaks on this car only have a few thousand miles on them, the battery is new, the interior and exterior are beautiful, but there are a few blemishes. This car is not in perfect condition but the body is straight and there is very little/no rust problems. The front of the car looks great, but from the doors to the back the paint is fading. The roof has some paint cracking. There is minor damage above and below the rear bumper. That being said, it is still a truly beautiful ride that catches a lot of attention. In the trunk I have boxes with spare/replacement parts. Also in the trunk, there is a car cover and sheet metal replacement for the rear valence (below the rear bumper). I also have one of the original California license plates and a digital copy of the shop manual for this car. I will include all of these items with car. There is no working radio in the car but I do have a stereo deck that should still work that I will include with the car. This car does not have power steering or A/C. Like I said, this car is an unfinished project, but it is a project car that you can drive, show off and enjoy right away.It is very reliable and has enormous potential.
