1963 Chevrolet Impala ConvertiblePlease read entire description before asking a question as it will most likely be answered. Very rare and desirable 1963 Impala convertible, 1 of only 3116 built in Canada. Clean title and currently plated. GM of Canada documentation verifying production provided. This Impala has under gone a full rotisserie restoration. It is currently in bare steel with zero bondo or hidden surprises under a coat of primer. This is a true 1867 V8 Impala convertible, not a Belair, or a conversion. Sheet Metal, Body: Most of the sheet metal parts are from Dynacorn. Full floor and all the floor supports, full quarters, re-skinned doors, inner rockers, taillight housings, tail pan, complete upper and lower trunk floors, trunk drop offs, trunk lid, and front fenders. $6500 spent on sheet metal parts only with no labor (200+ hours). Floor supports are welded to the floor pan for a smooth seam sealer free look. The drain holes in the floor have also been shaved as well as the firewall. The firewall was shaved using 10 gauge steel. Trunk floor currently features a flat bead rolled panel. An original style drop down tub can easily be installed with little modification. Engine: Previously rebuilt 283 V8 with aluminum 2 speed Powerglide. New water pump, fuel pump and motor mounts. Not currently running as there is no fuel tank or engine wiring harness. Frame: -Detailed with painted gloss black finish -Factory posi-traction with 3:36 gears -New rubber body mounts -New front and rear shocks -New dual exhaust Misc: -Original GM crack/chip free windshield -No side trim -Lots of parts shown in the pictures are included to finish the build -Though incorrect, Belair tail lights, sedan bench set and steering wheel installed Hundreds of detailed photos of the build are available. Clean title and GM of Canada documentation available. All body lines were set correctly at time of quarter panel installation. The car will need door gaps and final panel alignment set before paint and body work. Located in Edmonton, Alberta. I am not interested in any trades. The Impala is priced extremely fair given the amount and quality of the work completed thus far. I am willing to negotiate delivery to Great Falls, Montana or Spokane, Washington. Shipping from Edmonton, Alberta to Los Angeles or Phoenix via commercial open air hauler is about $1700. It will be your responsibility to confirm shipping prices with the carrier of your choice.
