Vehicle has been in my family since new, and always in dry, southern climate - no rust. Never wrecked or in any sort of accident. Was originally bought in Decatur, Alabama, and has been garage kept most of its life. Recently had a significant amount of restoration back to the original condition, including: - new paint (base coat/clear coat). All trim, moldings, bumpers were removed before repaint back to original color (medium ivy yellow, which according to "Automotive Mileposts" is a rare paint color). - new vinyl top, with original equipment pattern/grain, that matches the body side moldings. - new headliner, original pattern/material. New windshield. - leather seats, dash, carpet and floor mats are all original. No cracks in the dash or seats. - engine and transmission were completely overhauled, down to and including the block. New alternator, carb overall, A/C upgraded to new freon, water pump, shocks, brakes, rotors, and wide whitewall tires that are appropriate for the year model. Engine and exhaust is quiet, with no weird noises, ticks, knocks or such. Less than 50 miles since restored.
