Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1970 U14 factory half-cab. This vehicle is in very good shape and a lot of fun to drive. But it is 45 years old and not perfect. I bought it early this year and have had a lot of fun with it over the summer. Very sound mechanically and my son and I have been making some modest improvements cosmetically as some father / son projects. It runs very strong. Starts up easily every time. Does not run hot like many of these early Broncos with beefed up tires. I purchased the vehicle from a farm in Iowa from a guy that had owned it a few years. He purchased it from a man in Iowa that had the vehicle a while and had done a restoration / upgrade while he owned it. In playing around with the vehicle, it appears to have had a thorough restoration. All mechanicals are sound. I had my mechanic go through the vehicle when I purchased it and the only issue was the right outer tie rod, that I had replaced. The brakes had been redone and the bearings had been repacked. It has been repainted. The front floors have been completely replaced. The majority of sheet metal is sound. There are several areas of minor rust throughout the vehicle, but the normal problem areas have all been addressed by previous owners. The front fenders are fiberglass. Paint has good finish and shine, but has many surface scratches. Manual Steering. Manual Drum Brakes. Undercarriage is very clean. I have clear title in hand. Heater and defrost work. Head lights, brake lights, speedometer, emergency flashers, windshield wipers all work well. Turn signals are a bit sketchy - but work most of the time. I'm assuming it may be a weak ground somewhere. Whatever projects we did, we replaced with new hardware when complete. Door panels, shift boots, bulkhead, seats, driver fresh air intake, passenger fresh air all have new hardware. New door limiting straps and hardware. I just replaced the gauge with a working gauge, so the issue is elsewhere.Parking brake is not hooked up. Does not have door locks. I ran the vehicle with the top off, so this was not an issue for me.No horn.Several small rust areas on tailgate.Passenger door has area of chipped paint on top hinge. Does not have washer fluid bottle, pump, or tubing.Driver door has 4"-5" separation in metal under side view mirror. It's the exterior skin.Rear passenger quarter panel has small rust area in seam.Half-cab top is very solid, but needs to be repainted.Hood prop rod hold-down is broken, so you have to push it out of the way when closing hood.Dash pad is faded, and has a couple of holes.Paint on top of bed rail under the half cab top is worn through in several areas.Rust area on gas filler box in bed. Thanks for checking out my Bronco. Please let me know if you have any questions. I can send additional pics if you would like to see something specific.
