Here is a 1969 Alfa Romeo Spider. This is the Duetto style, round tail Spider, manufactured between 1967 and 1969.This Alfa was originally pine green. The car is equipped with dual Weber carburetors, that replaced the Spica fuel injection. The Webers are more reliable and perform better than the Spica fuel injection.........a very common upgrade.The car starts easily, idles nicely and sounds great. It drives out well. The motor is strong, the clutch is smooth and grabs well with no chatter or slip. The gearbox shifts smoothly, with no synchromesh problems. The brakes work as they should. Wipers work, heater fan works. All gauges, Tach, Speedo, Oil Pressure, Fuel and Temp work as they should. The oil pressure is excellent. She runs cool with the temp gauge hovering around the 180 degree mark. Tires are good. I believe the wheels are Cosmic IIs, and the spare tire sports one as well. The only top is a removable hard top that looks great on the car. I believe the rear window will clean up very well. The top is not perfect, as it was cracked (not too bad, easy fix), in two spots by careless FedEx freight workers.
