2000 Ford F250 Lariat 4x4 Extended Cab Short Box 7.3 V8 Powerstroke Diesel, in good condition. Runs and drives very well. Much sought after and highly regarded 7.3 Powerstroke diesel motor. This is a very good, well maintained example with the added bonus of being a top of the line Lariat model with 4x4. We took this truck in trade a few weeks ago, we have used it a couple of times to tow our trailer and it drives very well. There are no reliability issues and I would happily drive it anywhere. The body is in good condition for an older super duty with practically no rust. There is some of the usual surface rust around the wheel housings where the paint has come off but it is not rusted through and barely visible. There are rock chips in places but the previous owner looks to have touched most of these in. There are no major dents or scratches and it looks much newer than it is due to its overall good clean appearance. The windows are tinted. The aluminum rims are quite corroded but the tires are good. Overall a very good looking and solid truck. The 7.3 Powerstroke diesel starts and runs without fault as you would expect from one of these. It pulls very well with plenty of power. The transmission shifts perfectly and is very smooth. The differentials are quiet. It does sound like it needs a front U Joint though when in 4x4. The 4x4 works perfectly in high and low range with the manual locking hubs. It has a large slip tank fitted in the bed which gives a very good range between fill ups. There are no major mechanical issues with this truck at all and I would confidently drive it anywhere. Overall this Powerstoke F250 is in excellent mechanical shape. The interior is in good condition. Everything works perfectly such as the power windows, AC, cruise, radio and power seats. The Power Locks do not work. There is a rip on the leather drivers seat but it's not too bad. It could do with a vacuum and quick clean which I will try to do before the auction ends. Overall though it is in good condition with nothing broken or missing. Overall this is a very good example of a F250 7.3 Powerstroke diesel. It is a nice clean and solid honest truck that should continue to be very reliable for many years to come. I believe it is priced very competitively and we are willing to arrange delivery to anywhere in North America or if you prefer you can collect in person.
