No Disappointments: This Mustang is a great investment and a fun car to drive and enjoy. From the engine compartment to the trunk and everywhere in between, this is a clean car. AXLE TRANS BODY:As you can see from the photos, this 1967 Mustang Convertible has a very nice body. The car was professionally painted and restored back to original colors in 1997 with no expense spared. The underside is very solid, with great frame rails, strong torque boxes and undercarriage. The driver floor pan was replaced at the time of the restoration. The panels on this car show a nice fit and are straight. As with any 20 year old restoration, there are some minor flaws. I have included pictures below of the minor rust bubbles on the front corner of the doors. There is also a close-up picture of a paint chip on top of the driver fender. The undercarriage is a very dry California bottom with no rust. INTERIOR:The interior was professionally restored in 1997 and still is very presentable, with soft trim including: Seat Upholstery CarpetDash PadDoor PanelsOdometer reads 1372 miles on restoration. There is 83,000 miles on the body and 1372 engine ENGINE / MECHANICS The Ford engine is a 5.0 roller engine is transplanted from a 1995 Mustang GT. Powerful and responsive. The automatic transmission shifts as it should - no issues. The car runs strong and fast. Original 1967 Styled Steel Wheels Front Disc Brakes Rear Drum Brakes Power SteeringHeadersDual Flow Master ExhaustThis Mustang starts at the flick of the key and runs strong and smooth. The car has good steering response and a nice ride. The transmission shifts very responsive and smooth. Front disc brakes and rear disc brakes. the brakes are a little soft and have some pull when braking - should have some attention before driving long distances. The car has that nice rumble sound TRUNK:The trunk area is clean and rust free. No issues here, the pictures of the car speak for themselves.
