1975 Honda GL1000 naked Goldwing for Sale: Up for sale is a one of a kind GL1000 that took roughly 3 years of weekends and weeknights restoring, modifying, and resurrecting this from the grave. The bike was recently at the 2015 Barber Motorsports Vintage Fest and it was amazing to see the attention it attracted. The engine is rebuilt per Honda OEM spec, nearly 95% of every part is powdercoated except the body panels which are painted, and there are brake, suspension, ignition,and carburetor/fuel upgrades.There are too many upgrades to list without the ad being cluttered so email me if you have any questions. There is no reserve price!Non-Title Registration:This motorcycle is 40 years old and unfortunately there is no title. It is not branded as salvaged either. I will include a State of Georgia bill of sale form along with documentation from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and local police that have investigated any possible ownership or claims. A little about myself: My background for the last 17 years has been as an Aircraft Airframe and Powerplant mechanic. I originally started in the USMC as a helicopter mechanic and transitioned to airplanes. I have worked for Lockheed Martin as a mechanic on the F-22 Raptor and C-130J Hercules, I also have worked at Pratt & Whitney overhauling jet engines. I love retro and vintage bikes; you can still work on them, they are loud and raw (no abs or computer management systems).
