We are pleased to offer this retro looking, but mechanically modern Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster to one lucky bidder! The Speedmaster is built around the America's proven low-slung chassis and 790cc twin-cylinder engine, but has the tougher pared-down look of a bare-knuckle hot rod! The DOHC eight-valve air-cooled twin has the same 270 degree crank-pin as the America, but exits through long chrome pipes giving it a very throaty and authoritative sound! This engine is all about torque, and after shifting up through the gears, down shifting is seldom needed. You can slow down to almost a walk in high gear and accelerate away with no lugging! Clutch takeup and gear shifts are ultra smooth, and the brakes have been upgraded over the other Bonneville models, to dual discs. The stopping power is phenomenal! This bike combines the timeless great looks of a classic Bonneville, with modern reliability, and rideability, the best of both worlds! The Speedmaster also has extras not found on lesser Bonnevilles, including a very stunning two tone Jet Black/Tornado Red Paint scheme! The bike is in great shape and has never been down!
