Good day everyone, up for sale i have my beloved 1997 GMC Yukon 2 door 6.5 Turbo Diesel SUV. Unfortunatly i have to part ways with it because of the birth of my first child and the wife and i decided we have to get a 4 door. If it wasnt this situation i would keep it. I am the unofficial 3rd owner. I bought it but just never transferred the title in my name, to avoid the obvious. It runs good its my daily driver and on occasions my road trip car. Over the summer i have once put 5000 miles on it in 10 days no problem. All fluids and oils changed on time. Just recently changed the front, rear diff and transfer case oil. There is zero oil and coolant loss and any type of fluid loss between oil change. In the picture of the exhaust, that picture was taken on first start up, there is no smoke at idle or driving. AC is ice cold, heat is hell hot without the fan needing to be on. All electrics work, except for the rear tail gate, it wont even unlock with the key, but the glass part does open so you are still able to get things in and out the trunk. When i bought it the previous owner told me the check engine light was on due to the EGR valve. He said he had changed it several times but the code kept coming back as egr, so the light is just a check engine light malfunction. The truck has ran fine still and has been years. I got it scanned myself because i cant stand the sight of it and got it changed, a week later the light came back on, money well spent right? Two weeks ago i changed the front brake pads, a month ago i changed all 4 shocks, over the summer i recharged the AC. The previous owner also changed the injector pump and the lift pump the the newer revised versions because he said the older ones were faulty per GM. I started to spray some rustoleum on the undercarriage because it had some surface rust, wasnt able to complete it. When i bought it, it had like a 25 cent or two sized hole in the frame which was caused by of all things the AC condensation dripping down that part of the frame over the years. When you turn the AC on you will see it drips down on the exact spot that was repaired. The rest of the frame is good. It tows well, ive towed with it now and then. All said this truck is super reliable i would not hesitate to drive it China if they had roads connecting there. Everytime i stick the key in the ignition the last thing on my mind is wondering if this will start, and it starts with the first click of the key, glow plugs work fine it starts on the coldest of winter days. The coolant used in it is the proper coolant, its like gold in color not the usual green one. So you can fly in and drive the truck home. Also the milage will go up because after all it is my daily driver. Payment is due in full within 3 days after auction has ended, thats in person or paypal, money order, no checks, no exceptions. I will relist if this is not met. I will not release the truck until all payments have cleared, I dont care if its through paypal. I am flexible on pick up time.
