i strive to deliver 5 star customer service 2002 honda insight a great car ~ automatic transmission & have about a 52 mpg average for the last 140000 ~ suspect there are all those miles & more left in it ~ car was well used but not abused & i have a complete record of maintenance since i have had it ~ i had gotten it used & have many miles with smiles as i have had very few issues with it ~ the problems are as follows.... the rear hatch has to be opened with the key (requires a new actuator) ~ small dint in the body front drivers side with a rub on the rear drivers side as well ~ cigarette burn on the passenger's seat ~ headlights slightly fogged but still fine... & the big problem is it needs a new nickle metal hydride battery ~ the dealer had replaced the original in 2010 with a rebuilt one ~ as an alternative a grid charger can be installed & that may do it for a few more years ~ in the meantime to defeat the error message that stops the IMA & auto stop functions i simply remove the negative lead off the conventional battery (which is not a year old yet) & keep it off for a minute or so ~ this resets the computer at which point the charge & IMA (integrated motor assist) work fine till the next time the light comes on ~ the car is fun to drive & people comment on it everywhere i have been ~ i have gotten the best mpg out of anyone i know as well ~ warm heat ~ cold a/c ~ am/fm cassette with speakers not 2 years old ~ tires are good ~ will supply a new set of rear brakes that i had bought but not needed yet (new front brakes this year) & a set of summer time windshied wipers as the winter set is on it now & an extra key ~ i think honda only made these for a few years as they worked too well ~ please ask questions and resolve issues before you place your bid reserve? no reserve here! so if you like it you better place your bid now before it gets away! thanks for checking out my listing and if you are into watches please check out my other auctions whilst i continue to span the globe for unique and exotic items to bring to your door! you are the reason ebay is a success!
