1974 Firebird formula 400. It has been in inside storage since 1994. I bought it in 2003 and started the work on it. Rebuilt engine, Removed front fenders and all removable panels. Painted inside and out. Interior has original GM pieces from donor cars. Resent work done, New alternator, Master cylinder, New tires and other things to make the car driveable. I have current registration with insurance and have been driving it. Car run good with good pull and lots of torque. Road tested car, steers straight with no squeaks and minimum rattles. I would consider this still a project car because it has been mostly dormant for the last 21 years. Down below I will have a more detailed description. Ask questions and more questions, know what you or bidding on. . Paint still has mirror like shine finish with some scrapes and scratches, no rust bubbles or pealing paint . (dose not see much sun light) It has been 11 years and if anything was going to come thought the paint it would have by now, But did not have that much of a problem in the first place. Engine Original 400 cid code ZJ with vin numbers. Block cleaned inspected and all new bearings, rings, oil pump, and timing chain. New mild summits cam kit. Block bore and crank journal are all standard sizes. Heads are Rebuilt small chamber 93cc 6X-4 unleaded fuel heads 2.11 / 1.66 valves. Transmission Original turbo 400 code PL do not know the history on it. Change filter and fluid, no mud in pan. Body panels Original panels to the car. Hood, fenders, doors etc. Trunk lid is the only panel replaced, I had another one ready to go with a correct spoiler on it. Floor pans, rocker panels, radiator support, and trunk floor all original and solid. No signs of being wrecked or rolled, solid body. Hood is factory Original with no cuts or Repairs. Factory molded for the Ram air option. Interior Original GM used interior pieces and parts I collected over the years, Dash is near perfect no repairs and radio hole uncut. Carpet is a new reproduction. New headliner and package tray. No armor all or similar chemicals used in the interior, if you are a painter you will know why. Electrical Electric is sound. Re rapped engine wire harness, all lights work and electrical motors. Horn and Correct AM FM radio is not working. Spension and steering everything under car is tight and has been lubed. No damage from rocks or curbs. Chrome and trim chrome and trim is in fair to good shape Ask questions I don't broadcast them and or come see the car for yourself. New owner will be responsible for securing and scheduling shipping of vehicle. I will do what I can at this end. I can store the car up to 30 days.
