Just noticed in picture a spot on the concrete that is not from unimog.1965 Mercedes Benz Unimog gas 6 cylinder manual 6 speed forward 2 reverse Locking differentials ,that's the pinion gears which makes it truly a 4x4 .Very few vehicles can do this Usually commercial or military have this option, making it a very capable off roader. It has two gears reverse six forward. Straight six cylinder, single carburetor ,that runs great and has been used on most Mercedes cars and trucks which make parts and maintenance reasonable.. Tires are in good shape with a great tread design for on and off road use. It has a nice box in back that is great for camping or hunting. Haven't seen another like it. It was originally in the Netherlands. I think it was a military ambulance at one time.. If not familiar with unimogs please google them to see the amazing capability of these incredible machines. The ground clearance is high with the differential up high due to the intermediate gears in the wheel hub making the axle not have to be in the center of the wheel Look at pictures. The travel on the suspension is incredible. No mater the terrain the truck sits level. New they can sell for over three hundred thousand depending on configuration The older ones are the only way to afford one.
