I think This STUNNING , VERY SPIRITED & GREAT RUNNING Bike is a DREAM !..She is a Very LOW HOUR Bike that was owned by an older gentleman & she sat in Covered Storage for the Majority of her Life..(My Mechanic thinks her to be a Very Low Hour Bike please read info on this below) Again, his was owned by an older Gentleman & has always been a "Southern California Bike" and has been here in CALIFORNIA to the best of my knowledge the Bulk of it's Life !!! & Best of all She Has Great Compression & GREAT Spark + STARTS SUPER EASY & RUNS GREAT & More Importantly she appears that she was used Very Little in Her lifetime & more recently She has been in Dry Storage for approximately 2 decades !!!! Her seat Was Rebuilt From the FRAME UP + We cleaned out the Carburetor & Fuel System and She Started Right Back Up & YES ! SHE RUNS GREAT !!!! Also, this bike is in AMAZING Condition as you can see Her "ALL ALLOY" Swing Arm is in near Perfect Condition ! (IE) It must not have been used much at all & must have been kept in a Very Controlled Environment Area while in storage as... (1) it's Gas Tank & decals were almost perfect : (2) it's Engine Cases & Fork tubes etc etc also looked GREAT ! (No real appreciable visible Gouges, scratches that I could find etc etc & also even her Rubber Fork Tube Boots are Very Pliable & Nicer than most any bike we have seen ("even here in Southern California") (3) The Bikes Alloy Wheel Rims are Nearly Perfect (I did not notice any metal Alloy fatigue cracking+ NO flat spots, Kinks etc etc that I could detect ) ! ! ! (5) the bikes Upholstery & Foam seat cushion were actually pretty Nice.. though we replaced the outer Cover her cover was actually FAR Better than almost any other bike we have restored in decades ! (6) All of the bikes Rubber parts seem to still be in Overall Nice Shape...(7) The Engine "Started Right Back Up" & RAN AMAZING ! ! ! as soon as we cleaned the fuel system & cleaned out the Carburetor & installed Fresh New Gas in her she fired right back up ! ! ! (8) the inside of this bikes Fuel TANK looks GREAT 9) Shifter Lever & Rear Brake Lever & Foot Pegs + kick starter etc etc All Look to be in GREAT Condition (10) Her Tuned Exhaust System looks GREAT (11) she appears to have her original Chain ....Therefore... We feel this was a Very Lightly used Bike that was Fortunate enough to spend the Bulk of it's Life in a Very in a very Climatically Correct storage Area. I have also, the State of California D.M.V. This Vintage Racing SUZUKI RM 125's has her Original 1978 SUZUKI RM 125 Tuned Exhaust & her Vintage upgraded "DG" Style Silencer. A BRAND NEW Professionally re-upholstered seat. We also Cleaned refurbished what looks to be the Original "HUGE" 1978 RM 125 Carburetor, & Cleaned the Entire Fuel system & added a Quality Inline Fuel Filter & added a Brand New "UNI"sock Air Cleaner Element, & "We Installed The VERY BEST "MODAL" Trans Mission Oil". The Front and Rear suspension visually looked good & it's seals looked good & did not appear to show any signs of leaking at this time so other than to clean them & refinished the lower Alloy fork legs etc etc (IE) as far as fluid levels etc. they are just as we received them and therefore we have not thoroughly tested the suspension as we are just now getting the Bike Running again & completing the cosmetic restoration on this Beautiful Bike, Over and Beyond this...In Her Cosmetic restoration process..We removed most Every Main Component on the bike...nearly all the way down to her "Bare Frame" + Cleaned & refinished most every main component then hand reassembled ~every main item back onto her frame again "Piece by Piece".. She looks to have Vintage Racing SUZUKI RM 125's Fuel tank fenders & side covers etc that were stripped back & refinished to it's Extremely Clean and in Very Nice Condition (as You should be able to see in the included pictures) we added Brand New tank Graphic were just installed ..fuel tank is in Very Nice condition & may be from a 1979. We also cleaned, painted & refinished the; Frame, Brand New Air cleaner, Hubs, Spokes, Exhaust Pipe (Tuned Exhaust system) & Her "UPGRADED "DG" Style "High Performance" Muffler" & we repainted her Nice Front fender & her rear fender, tank etc. & we painted everything to match to a look very close to what I think a new one of these RM 125s would have looked NEW like back in 1978. We installed Brand New High Quality Vintage style rubber handlebar Hand Grips. Her "SIX SPEED" Gears Shift GREAT Her Clutch Releases & Grips GREAT just coming out of ~20+ years of Dry Storage Important thing is the Clutch Grips GREAT & the more she runs the better it should work. She has BRAND NEW Gear Box OIL "MODOL" (THE VERY BEST) which is said to be the Very Best Gear Oil you can get) Her Fork Tube Rubbers which I think look & Feel almost like Brand New looking Original 1977 SUZUKI Rubber Fork Tube Boots, She has almost "BRAND NEW" looking Vintage style MX Racing handlebars. Unlike most race bikes this also has a side stand, That can be easily & Quickly removed (with one bolt) if you would like to..So you can lift the bike on a Race Bike Stand & also I believe, she has updated clutch & front brake levers have also been updated along the way. The Shifter , Clutch, Brakes, kick Starter Lever All seems to work GREAT & do not appear to have any noticeable wear & or damage to them : She has a BRAND NEW Clutch Cable, a BRAND NEW *Up Graded* "RENTHAL" Front Drive Sprocket as well as Original Factory SUZUKI Transmission output shaft Nut & Retaining locking plate & Upgraded BRAND NEW "UNI" Filter Element. !!!PLEASE NOTE: We are just completing her Brand New cosmetic Restoration (as detailed above etc)...& "YOU" can be the Very First Owner of this Beautiful Bike since this was completed ! A while back I had an email from the 1978 NATIONAL Motocross 125 ARMATURE Champion & He said he did it on an almost Stock 1978 RM 125 he said only made a couple of very minor changes.... the engine was almost stock he said just added Boysen Reeds (I think they are only about 25 + dollars?) ....These 1978 RM's are AMAZING & GREAT Bikes & I am not all surprised that was all it took ! * At only 1450 US D I would not wait too long on this one ...Please, keep in mind ...We have had an average of TEN to fifteen emails a day on this bike alone ...since we started the auction....
