For sale is my 1974 street/strip Chevy Vega, clear title get tags; title it and then drive it or tow it. This car has been around since the early 80's it came out of Texas and ran NHRA under the name; Mouse on the Loose, I had it since 2009. I purchased it, strip it down and repaired the body and custom painted it, applied vinyl graphics to the front and sides of the car. The electrical hook ups are still there, work, needing hook up, lights and signals work, there is a cassette player in it along with a line lock, trans break, launch delay box, two step, MSD box, with three under dash gauges; water temp, oil, volts, non working tach. The engine is a bored 350 mild race engine that has been running fine since I purchased the car, its consistent ( it has run in the mid 7 seconds consistently with me driving and still runs strong and could be run on the street, may have to change cam and add mufflers; check with your local DMV. It has a manual shift turbo 400, stahl speed converter, trans cooler, and shifts hard (see wheelie pic). Front shocks are 90/10 to allow the front end of the car to lift quickly for transfer the weight to the rear for good weight distribution and to come down slowly after launch, shortened 12 bolt set up rear end, mini-spool with 4:30 gears. front wheels are narrow drag runners and rear wheels and slicks are 14” five lugs all round with longer lugs, and a battery, high output fuel pump, Holley carb, power shut off switch, cooling fan and water pump motor, headers, new starter, and has a rear spoiler. Sub frame connectors, drive shaft loop, race shocks in rear, ladder bars, and fiber glass rear wheel wells for larger tires without tubing. It comes with interior paneling, floor carpet not included.
