However I will first give a little insight as to why this one is special to me. Several years ago a friend of mine called me and began to express how impressed he was with a little Mustang he found at a local car show. He had been waiting to find that perfect muscle machine to purchase for quite some time and had hopes into talking the owner into selling this one. The gentleman told him sadly that he wasn’t interested at the time but if anything changed in the future that he would contact him. Well that day didn’t come for several years. Unfortunately when the appointed time did come my friend found himself short of the funds needed to secure the transaction. After coming to realization that this was just not meant to be he called me to express what he thought was the opportunity of a life time. I reached out to the selling party and made an appointment to view this vintage pony car. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised with what I found after the car cover was removed! I found it easy to appreciate what the car was & what it wasn’t. It only took a millisecond to admire the cars overall appearance. Shortly after the initial inspection I also found out how structurally sound the car was! Taking it from the top: First off the car left the factory covered in a beautiful shade of Brittany Blue. It was not painted again until 2014! The color that is on the car now is a brighter than the original shade. I have to admit I love it & so does everyone else who runs across it! The finished product is nothing short of breath taking! This pony is drop dead gorgeous and must be seen to be truly appreciated!!! The brilliant blue semi metallic paint on this car has a deep shine that is simply blinding in direct sunlight! People at each and every corner can’t help but acknowledge you by either giving you thumbs up or waving! You will also find it common place to have complete strangers snap pictures with their camera phone as you’re rolling down the freeway! The gentleman who painted the car absolutely loved Mustangs and his passion is made evident with just one glance of this stallion! As you inspect the cars exterior you will find no areas of damage or amateur imperfections to report. The cars exterior looks great from all angles and the body is smooth to the touch! The second owner spoke of how much time was put into just prepping the car before actually painting it. Quality, precision and excellence was no doubt what he had in mind before the paint process began. Another good bit of news is that this vintage pony car hails from West Virginia! So the body of this particular Mustang is SUPER SOLID & RUST FREE!!! I believe that even the most critical enthusiast will be impressed with this cars body! Every factory spot weld is still in place & the body panels are quite uniform. All of the chrome appointments on the car are in stellar condition! The front & rear bumpers have been replaced with N.O.S. sanctioned reproduction ones! These bumpers are new & don’t have a single scratch on them (new bumper bolts also). The emblems on this Mustang were also replaced! Each emblem is also M.C.A (Mustang Club of America) approved pieces! The stainless rocker panel moldings & window edge moldings still have plenty of life left & them as well! The head light bucket trim, grill edge moldings & chrome back up light retainers are all new and in fantastic shape as well! Again this Mustang is ready for any venue SHOW OR GO!!! Now that we have talked about this incredible Mustangs exterior lets discuss what she has to offer inside! Upon opening the door of this pony you will find a very inviting interior! This Mustangs interior plays its part well in conjunction with the exterior. The Raven black upholstery throughout is in excellent condition! The seat covers are like new…..flawless! The complete interior was restored at Price’s Auto Upholstery in West Virginia. This company specializes in restoring top notch classic cars! The seat buns, seat cushions, seat upholstery & almost every other stitch of this cars interior was replaced at that time (2014). This Mustang makes you look for an excuse to take her out of the garage! Driving this pony for hours on in is a sheer pleasure! Most enthusiast tend to neglect the need to replace the lumbar supporting cushions when restoring classic Mustangs. No worries here, all of the hard work has been done for you! You will notice a definite difference the moment you sit inside! The dash pad is original to the car. It is in fantastic condition and free from damage. The upholstery shop went the extra mile to make the owner happy! They also replaced the headliner. It is in like new condition! You will also quickly take notice of this pony cars perfect set black standard door panels! The door panels are in new condition & they both have new window cranks, door handles and other hardware attached!  The inner quarter upholstery must been seen to truly be appreciated! They along with the packing tray & door seals were replaced.   All of the surrounding glass in the car is damage free! The front & back windshield are also damage free! This Mustang has a beautiful console securely fashioned inside! The console not only looks great it provides just the right convenience for the driver looking to store any loose items. Looking for more Mustang Nostalgia…..feast your eyes on the factory original radio. Finally expect to find a super nice steering wheel inside this pony car. All of the interior lights are still shining bright & the dash lights are actually functioning! Placed underneath your feet will be yet another item that screams out “I LOVE MY MUSTANG”!!! This car has been afforded a new set of pony car floor mats! The carpet is also new throughout! All & all the interior of this Mustang is in amazing condition! This is truly an incredible car that is ready to be enjoyed! This car actually takes you back to 1967 each & every time you climb behind the wheel! Something else that shouldn’t be overlooked easily is the trunk of this pony car! This Mustang has a very nice molded trunk mat that looks fantastic! The trunk rails and inner quarters are rock solid (Must See)!  Now that I have given several reasons why you should love this Ford…… I will talk about yet why a few Chevy guys hate it! No Mustang can truly be considered a muscle car without having a factory V/8! The heart and soul of this horse is its STOUT factory 302 engine. The factory engine block was rebuilt in 2013! THIS PONY RUNS STRONG!!!!  The motor has plenty of giddy up and is ready for the open road! This pony will simply push you back in the seat if you open the throttle! Although the car is very user friendly ….it is always nice to have the power on tap (if Needed)! She turns over with just a flick of the key at the slightest touch! You simply have to drive this one to appreciate it. LET’S LISTEN!!! I absolutely love hitting the freeway in this Mustang! She seems to just hum along without issues for hours at a time! This one almost has a modern feel to it when considering how well she handles. Whenever you reach your point of destination she leaves you begging for more! There is a fairly new radiator installed that helps keep it cool under the hood! Preventative maintenance has not been overlooked either. The car has recently had new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, water pump, thermostat, gaskets, seals, fuel pump, oil sending unit, alternator, battery, hoses, belts, starter and just too much more too list!!! After you ask your wife if you can buy this car (and if she says no) if you decide to purchase it anyways …..you can make your way to a cheap motel with confidence (she’s dependable)! Seriously…..If you have been looking for a classic Mustang that you can enjoy without issue “look no further”! This Mustang actually performs, handles & drives like a low mileage vehicle! The car has had the brake system totally gone through. The car stops on a dime without issue. Here you have the total package. A classic Ford Mustang that sounds & looks incredible! But that’s not all……To top things off there is a excellent set spank brand new 17 inch Torque Thrust style Ralley wheels (Bull Dog aggressive stance)! Classic look “stops traffic”! Guys driving all the modern muscle cars today can’t wait to compliment you when driving this beauty! We didn’t stop there (no expense spared)! This Mustang also has a set of brand new Nexen Performance radials at all four corners! The tires don’t have 40 miles on them so this Mustang is ready for years on trouble free performance!
