The vehicle currently had 57,990 miles and was removed from service in October 2015 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The tires have approximately 70% tread remaining. The truck appears to drive well with no apparent issues present at this time. The exterior is in fair condition. The steel wheels all have some surface rust present. The hood has 3-4 noticeable, small rock chips present. Two (2) of these are larger, but still smaller than dime size. The front bumper is faded. The driver side front fender has 3-4 small rock chips present. The roof has 1 small rock chip present near the front center edge that has started to rust. The lower portion of the driver door, driver side rear access door and driver side rear lower corner all have rust present. There are 2-3 minor, small dings present on the driver side of the truck bed, along with rust present/forming on the driver side rear wheel well. The rear bumper is starting to rust on the lower portion. The passenger side of the truck bed has 3-4 minor, small dings present, along with rust present/forum on the passenger side rear wheel well. The passenger side of the cab is rusting at the lower rear corner. The passenger side door has multiple, small door dings present. The passenger side front fender has 2-3 small rock chips present. The interior is in fair condition. The driver seat back & bottom cushion both are worn through the fabric & have portions of the foam padding missing. The center armrest has staining present on the back portion. This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Mar 2015 at 56,004 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following. In Nov 2014, at 55,016 miles, the serpentine belt, belt tensioner assembly & idler pulley were replaced. In Apr 2014, at 51,224 miles, the rear brakes were cleaned & anti-rattle clips were installed. In Aug 2013, at 46,174 miles, the truck was checked over for a possible issue with the brakes dragging. No problem was found. In Apr 2013, at 44,724 miles, both wiper blades were replaced. In Jan 2013, at 44,017 miles, the fuel vapor canister, vent tube & fuel cap were replaced. In Aug 2012, at 42,768 miles, the passenger side head light bulb was replaced. In July 2012, at 42,210 miles, the left front wheel ABS speed sensor was replaced. An alignment on the truck was also performed. In Dec 2010, at 37,792 miles, the right front tire was repaired. In Oct 2010, at 37,382 miles, the left front tire was repaired. In Dec 2009, at 33,827 miles, the battery was replaced. In Sep 2009, at 32,710 miles, both front tires were repaired. In June 2009, at 31,053 miles, the left side tool box latch was repaired. In Dec 2007, at 21,231 miles, the spare tire was repaired. In May 2007, at 17,071 miles, the left front tire was replaced. In Aug 2006, at 11,550 miles, the right rear wheel cover was replaced. In July 2005, at 2,624 miles, recall #05S33 was completed at the local Ford dealership. In May 2005, at 647 miles, mudflaps were installed on the truck. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
