My wife and I have twin 05 Ford Excursions, and she's told me "since we now have a daughter going off to college money needs to go for her so get rid of one". Therefore, since I love my daughter and my wife (who prefers her Jeep anyway) more than the second Excursion, someone is going to end up with a very nice Non-Smoker diesel Ex for a good price. Only 125,524 Actual Miles. Here is a list of some of the options: Limited Package - 4X4 - 6.0L V8 Turbo Diesel w/ Auto Trans – All Leather Interior w/ Dual Power Heated Front Captain's Seats, Memory Driver's Seat, Rare 2nd Row Captains Seat, 3rd Row Seat, AM/FM/CD Changer Audio, Steering Wheel Audio and A/C Controls, Rear DVD Entertainment System, Cold Front and Rear Air Conditioning, Power – Windows/Door Locks/Dual Heated Mirrors, Adjustable Pedals, Rear Quarter Windows - Tilt, Cruise, Homelink, Wood Trim, Tow Package, Trailer Receiver Hitch, Running Boards, Luggage Rack I have a clean/clear title in hand as I never registered it when I bought it three years ago as I was going to customize it, so you will be next in line for ownership. I have done some work to it because I am very particular about my vehicles so rest assured this is mechanically sound. When I got it it had a small crack in one of the tanks of the radiator and so I replaced the radiator and all associated coolers (oil, EGR) as well as flushed the system completely. I installed a new radiator, coolant bypass filter system, new oil and EGR coolers (both old ones were perfect), new degas bottle (overflow tank) and filled it with ELC - Extended Life Coolant as the Ford stuff has silicates in it that can cause problems. While I was in that far I replaced the STC (Snap To Connect) fitting on the high pressure oil pump with Ford's updated part so that would never be an issue. As I was going through the motor I found there were two injectors that were not completely showing full voltage like the others so I replaced those as well. One of the U-Joints had a little play in it (rear driveline at differential) so I replaced all 6 U-Joints on both drive shafts and had them balanced. Brakes were new when I got it as were all fluids. It got a fresh oil change and fuel filters as well when I was changing out the injectors. The only two things that needed to be replaced were the radiator and u-joint, but I don't do things halfway. Basically that's all I've done to this fine machine. So... like I said, someone is going to get a very nice Excursion for a good price. This is a solid Excursion in very good condition that runs strong - no mechanical issues, has been started and run regularly and driven around some on our dirt roads by our house to keep everything operational. It is a 10 year old vehicle, not perfect (paint has some minor scratches and chips), but very nice for its year since its the last year they made them. Not many left in this condition... and even fewer with captain’s seats. I've got thousands more money into this truck than I am asking, so I'm not interested in trades or low ball offers, be realistic. I know what this truck is worth and I know how difficult they are to find... I have priced it to be a good deal and I don't expect it to last long. It is listed locally so first come first served.
