1951 Chevrolet 5700 Cabover TruckThis truck was recently acquired from an estate in Central Montana where it was used periodically before being parked approximately 10 years ago. The truck has been sitting since and the running condition is unknown.Original 6 cylinder, 4 speed and 2 speed rear.Truck appears complete with the exception of the original radiator has been removed from the truckThe body and sheet metal are incredibly solid with only minor rust in the cab corners and door bottoms. No major rust.The upper cab corner has some repairable cab damage (see pictures)The interior is complete with all floor panels, original seat, gauges and the optional AM radioThe truck rolls and steers easily. Tires are 8.25 x 20 and hold air.156" wheelbase, approximately 22 feet overall, 8 feet tall and 8 feet wide. 4500 pounds.Wooden flatbed has been removed. It is a bare chassis.All paperwork had been lost by the previous owner and it is no longer in the DMV system. Bill of sale only.This is a great truck for a factory restoration or an excellent donor cab for a custom project.Truck is located in Hope, Idaho 83836. Buyer is responsible for picking up and shipping the truck. I can assist in loading. Truck can be stored on site for up to 4 weeks to arrange shipping. There is $200 per month storage fee, for any time after the initial 30 days. Immediate deposit of $500 is required at the end of the auction via PayPal.
