Vehicle Detail

Selling my Toyota Camry because my parents' friend has a younger, low mileage car for sale. The only prior owner was my mother, who put ~65,000 miles on the car between 2003 - 2012 when I took over the title. The car runs great and has been well serviced over the years. Consistent oil changes and maintenance work done. New battery, breaks, serpentine tensioner this year. The main wear and tear to note is cosmetic. New York street parking did in the bumpers. I installed a new front bumper this year which is matte black (not as shiny as the paint) but blends well enough. The back bumper could use a paint job or replacement as it has significant scratching and some paint that rubbed off when there was a little a sliding encounter with a yellow pole in a parking garage — this can likely be buffed off. A hail storm in 2012 left a few dents less than a centimeter deep and less than golf ball sized in diameter on the hood and trunk but these are hardly noticeable. Overall the car looks fine for it's age. The interior is in fair shape. No weird smells. A 4 inch patch on the drivers-side door covers original fabric that ripped. The stereo is an aftermarket CD/MP3, installed so I could plug in my iPhone into an AUX input. Has a sliding sunroof and all the power windows work! The photo shown here was taken in August in on a trip to Ontario. This was the last big trip the car has taken and after driving back home I had my mechanic do a full check up - he came up with only 2 known operational issues: 1- There is a small hole in an exhaust pipe that feeds the catalytic converter which causes a noticeable but very moderate hum when the engine is running. It does not affect the cars performance whatsoever. My mechanic says this can be fixed by short-term by welding the pipe or long-term by replacing the catalyic converter. 2- Front left tire has a slow leak. All the tires have decent tread and were replaced in 2013. This is a great car and I would ride another 100,000 miles in it (with a bit of care) if a family friend wasn't selling me a good one at a good price. Passing the good price on for convenience. :)
