THIS IS A TITLED EASY-STARTING SURVIVOR. OTHER THAN SOME REPAIR WORK TO THE FRONT FENDER I CAN FIND NOTHING ALTERED ON THIS GREAT RUNNING VINTAGE 1969 SUZUKI AS50. PUT THE CHOKE ON ABOUT A THIRD AND SHE STARTS WITH JUST ONE KICK AND RUNS JUST FINE. PROFESSIONALLY SERVICED JUST PRIOR TO THIS AUCTION. MY SONS AND I ARE IN THE PARTS BUSINESS, BUT, THIS BIKE WAS FAR TOO NICE, COLLECTIBLE, AND RIDE-ABLE TO PART OUT. The styling on all models was spot on, and as the new ‘Moped’ rules hit most of Western Europe, sales were high with style conscious 16 year olds. The A series Suzuki's enjoyed a lengthy production run and were responsible for introducing large numbers of youngsters to the freedom and enjoyment offered by motorcycles.
