1981 Vw Rabbit Pickup (Black). Honest 44 MPG+ at reasonable speeds.... Mechanically excellent...drive home condition with current plates. Solid floors, rocker panels AND door corners are perfect....they usually are not! I listed photos of existing rust areas. All tie-rod ends and ball-joints are solid, steering is tight. Drive axle boots are leak-free. Good tires. Has the 5th gear transmission, will maintain 70 mph freeway speed! Most Rabbits won't! I rebuilt the motor with .020 pistons, new head,starter, generator, belts, oil pump, bearings and rebuilt injector pump. New timing belt also.
