BEFORE YOU READ ANY FURTHER, THIS TRUCK DOES RUN AND DRIVE, HAS NO KNOCKS, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT (not even one "hiding") NO LEAKS, ETC. This truck was my daily driver til it sustained front end damage from a 35mph collision. I pulled the bumper guard (which caused the extent of the damage by leveraging the bumper up and pushing into the hood as well as the passenger fender). as well as anything else that was damaged to check out the frame and perform repaired. I have decided to sell the truck as I have acquired a replacement. I will describe everything that I know in the best detail possible. As stated, it was a 35mph collision. Airbags did deploy and have been cut out. The seat belts did lock. I have watch tutorials on unlocking them vs replacing them. The drivetrain is in perfect condition. This truck starts, runs, and drives the same as the day I got it. If I had a bumper to throw on it I would not hesitate to drive it cross country. It has the 5.4L Triton V8 with an automatic 4x4 transmission. These things could pull down a telephone poll. I do have CLEAN TITLE IN HAND! NO SALVAGE, ETC TITLE HERE!. -FRAME DAMAGE- I have looked over the truck quite extensively as my intentions were to rebuild. The passenger side sustained no damage. The drivers side bumper mount got bent upward causing the front horn to tweak a little bit. The truck still drives straight so it does not appear to go beyond that part alone. It is actually quite thin metal and could be bent back quite easily with the proper know how. A new bumper mount can be tacked on and everything can be acquired for $1000-$1500 tops to have a perfectly looking, mechanically sound $10k truck (which is what my insurance valued it at). Trust me this is a nice truck and when they did comparisons they were finding similar trucks with 200k+ miles for $7,000+. Again, this truck has no knocks, no hoses or lines were even touched in the accident. AC works perfectly and blows extremely cold. This truck is being sold as is. This engine is the 5.4L Triton V8 GASOLINE engine. I have contacted eBay regarding this issue as it was based of their stored "catalog" information, and they have told me there was nothing I could do aside from having bidders retract if necessary or relist whilst incurring fees.
