2 Full Size Luxury PROJECT CARS FOR AUCTION 1948 CHRYSLER CROWN IMPERIAL 4 DOOR 9 SEAT LIMO AND A 1950 STEFFAN HAMBURG LIMITED. Mint exterior and chrome, interior needs total restore and repair. Seats intact, need to be reupholstered. Interior roof liner needs to be replaced. We have come across two nostalgic Chrysler Crown Imperials and are looking to sell them both to someone who wants a project. When you roll up on them, you immediately have the WOW factor. I was in awe! The exterior on each of the vehicles is in incredible condition for the age of the vehicle. The black car starts and runs great and has functioning power to the headlights, blinkers and wipers. The blue car is stripped inside and out and can be used for parts or reassembled to a rebirth of high class sophistication! We have 7-9 totes full of parts that have been kept in dry storage to reassemble the car. Not all of the original parts are in the totes, but a vast majority are. The seats have not been removed, but are in need of full reupholstery as does the interior roof in each vehicle. These cars are priced in a lot and we are looking to sell both of them together. Great price for a truly remarkable piece of antique AMERICAN luxury. Here are the specifics below and please feel free to ask more questions not answered in this listing! Let's start with the black vehicle (which runs) first: 1948 Crown Imperial Black7231 ORIGINAL MILES!!! On Sep-28-15 at 17:57:04 PDT, seller added the following information: REVISED INFORMATION PLEASE READ THIS FIRST!!!I just went and took more photos of the cars as requested by interested buyers. Here is the CONFIRMED information about the vehicles: Sorry for the mix up in the first description. I had the reverse age on the cars. Both makes are still accurate. These cars are PROJECT cars and are NOT in mint condition though the exterior of each car is beautiful!!! The black car is a 1950 Chrysler Crown Imperial. 8 cylinder, 4 door, 8 passenger, sedan. It is mostly original and the current owner has had it for 18 years. He has never repainted it and is believed to be original paint. The car is in excellent condition. May need a tune up, but it runs. The interior needs to be redone. The interior ceiling needs to be ripped out due to mouse damage. It also has a smell in the interior from the mice and more reason that it needs to be reupholstered. Spitfire 8 cylinder motor. clean undercarriage, nice tires, windows in tact, wiring works. A/C and heat turn on, though I do not know if they actually heat or cool. 7231 ORIGINAL MILES!!! The exterior is in excellent condition. It has been repainted. Many, of the parts are in totes. They can not guarantee that all the parts needed to repair the car are in the totes, but a lot of them are. It is mostly stripped. Needs windows, needs interior to be completely redone. Has horns, parts manuals, lots and lots of parts. Spitfire motor in beautiful clean condition. Does not run because the car is stripped. See PHOTOS and ask questions before bidding please. It is to my knowledge that the titles do not exist, but they have been registered in CT and they were bought in NY. The change of ownership will be complete with a bill of sale from the current owner unless a title can be secured (if available). On Sep-28-15 at 18:16:34 PDT, seller added the following information:
