What you are looking at is what some call a "V-8 T". this is a true 1940s survivor. FRAME AND BODY.. All original 1927 Henry Steel body fitted correctly to a 1930 model A frame. Frame modified with a Vern Tardel K member and uses Original 32 ford Pedals. Paint is in good condition over most of the Body there are 2 small areas of repair needed on trunk lid near hinge support area. MOTOR & TRANSMISSION a 38' ford 21 stud flathead powers the car , topped with duel Stromberg 97s on a vintage "Y" Manifold. Motor is backed by a 39 ford 3 speed tranny connected to a 40 ford Rear end. starter and generator uprated to 12 volt. SUSPENSION The front end is a 33/34 "filled " axle the rides on Posies springs (front and rear) steering is by a 32 box and 1940 ford juice brakes , all riding on original 35 rims.. with 7.00x16 out back and 5.00x16 in the front. this ROD came over from Hawaii where it was built originally post war and upgraded with modern electrical, cooling and radiator. 90% VINTAGE parts Sold AS is Where is. $1000 deposit 48 hours after close of auction. pick up only Shipping is Buyers responsibility..
