Vehicle Detail
One owner Highboy. Original miles 83600. I am the 2nd owner. The original owner, a Kansas Farmer used the truck for his personal ride and it was only used on the farm. It was ordered with the factory Heavy Duty Suspension, Heavy Duty Dana 60 front and rear differentials that has 4:10 gears, 460 4-row HD Radiator and no bed. It has the famous 4 speed with Granny gear and Divorce Transfer case. The 4 wheel drive system works with no problems. Everything works on this Truck besides the AM radio. Has Power Drums brakes and a 390 motor. I bought this truck to tow my 1969 Mustang to car shows and before I had the opportunity to do that, the Mustangs 351C developed a problem and will need to be pulled. So now I need the funds for that work, this is the sole reason why I'm selling this great truck. Work performed within the last 4 months: The stock exhaust manifolds have been painted and baked to cure, it has new ceramic exhaust gaskets and doughnuts. It has glass pack mufflers and new exhaust pipes that drop down after the muffler. A New Borgeson Steering Coupling was installed between the steering column and gear box, we rebuilt the steering column with new bearings and new turn signal switch then painted the column. New (4) HD Shocks, new water pump, new radiator hoses, new radiator shroud, new starter, new front blinkers lenses, bulbs and flat bed lights. The heater core replaced and added new heater core hoses, radiator hoses and new fan belts. New rebuilt 2 bbl Carburetor, New Metal Gas Tank, New Fuel Pump. Also has a 5th wheel ball mount in center of bed, trailer wire hook up and trailer brake controller. Brand New 10 ply tires. New 2x6 pressure treated bed rails and galvanized hardware. New Master Cylinder. Things needing to be done: It will need each inner fender well because water splash up caused rot, one radiator support hole mount rusted and has been built up with metal washers, the cab corners have tiny pin holes, the floor is solid. These items are an easy fix and do not have to be done to drive the truck. In fact you can leave it that way or replace them if your making this a show vehicle. You can buy the truck and drive it anywhere with out a problem. The truck runs fantastic, goes straight down the road, great oil pressure and never over heats. Truck has plenty of power and would make an excellent project with very little to do. Please note that I also listed the truck locally. You may call me at 870-204-4588. I've been getting a ton of responses, so I've added a few more pictures of the new carb and gas tank and the inner front fender wells as well as other pics I thought is important to view.
