Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my baby. I bought this beautiful triple black Chevy Camaro convertible with the high-performance V8 (rumbles like a V8 should) in 2004 from Campbell Brothers Auto in Rushville, Indiana. It was 4 years old and had 67,000 miles on it when purchased. It has been the best and most reliable car I have ever owned. Over the last 11 years I have owned the convertible, I have put mostly highway miles on the car, driving an hour two and from work every day. It has been my daily driver. I replaced the water pump a few years ago, I have recharged the air conditioning one time. I also had the windshield replaced professionally once when a rock chipped the original one. As is normal with this year of Camaro, the yellow "check engine" light comes on frequently, as there are hundreds of little things that can cause it do do so. A few years back I took it to the Chevy Dealer in Muncie and had them hook the car up to a machine. They said it was a "mass air flow filter" so I had it replaced for $450.00. The yellow light went off for a couple weeks and came back on. The local mechanic here in New Castle then checked the car out thoroughly and told me not to worry about it, that many things can cause it, even a loose gas cap, so since about 2010 I haven't paid any attention to it and the car is fine. There are a few nicks to the paint on the driver's side door, on the hood, and here and there, but it isn't noticeable until you look up close at it. The car looks great otherwise, it is automatic and shifts very smooth. Anyone that knows me will tell you I drive like an old man (Well, I am turning 60 this year lol) - The car has never been raced. I have always driven like I had an egg between my foot and the accelerator, because that's just the way I drive, I do not like tearing up vehicles. When I bought the car in 2004 I replaced all the stereo speakers as they were beginning to show static, that cleared it right up for $450.00. The Monsoon radio works well, but the CD player has issues. I don't listen to CDs so I never had it fixed. It does NOT have an auxillary input for smart phones etc., due to the year (I don't even think smart phones were invented then). The engine runs great, roars to life immediately every time. Professional custom leather steering wheel cover installed for $120.00 a few years ago. Power top in good shape and goes up and down no problem, flip 2 clips and push the button, takes about 30 seconds to go up and down. This car is being sold with NO RESERVE so it will go to the HIGHEST BIDDER. You could hop in and drive this car to California tomorrow, local pickup only, no shipping unless you want to send your own hauling company to pick up the car and title after the car is paid in full. My feedback is 100% with over 1000 transactions so bid with confidence. GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING!
