Up for grabs is a 1987 Chevy 1/2 ton longbed Silverado. This is a FACTORY Fuel Injected Squarebody. '87 was the only year you get the 1/2 ton squarebody with TBI. Has just under 153k miles and clean title. This truck could be a lot of fun as an LS swap, shop truck, parts truck, or work truck. GREAT PATINA!! Truck has been a daily driver all of its life, and has never left me stranded regardless of weather. Powertrain is a 305 TBI engine with a TH400 transmission. Paint is faded and peeled and the cab corners and rockers are rusted. Typical for 73-87 Chevy/GMC trucks. Bed is in overall good shape. Floor is very good, and bedsides are structurally sound. Does need new tailgate hinges. Easy fix. The interior has a recently installed dash cover and seat cover. Dash can be recovered or used as is. Cruise currently isn't working due to broken solder joint on switch at connection. Easy fix. Also steering column has missing portion of cover and is a bit sloppy (also typical of this era.) I will include extra steering column that you can rebuild or use for parts. Has Targa dual shaft cassette deck that works well and sounds good. Passenger tank not working (possibly ground or selector valve?) switch was replaced less than a year ago. Has very slow coolant leak from old radiator repair. This was a heavily optioned truck back in its day with the following: Power Windows and Locks Dual 16 gallon tanks Tilt Wheel Cruise Control Rally Gauges and Clock 8" Rally Wheels Heavy duty Brakes and Suspension Sliding Rear Window AM/FM stereo The passenger side fuel tank is not working, not sure if it's the selector valve, ground, or pump. There is a new switch already installed. The title is clean/non-branded, but may throw a red-flag on here because the odometer has rolled over. The odometer from the factory is a 5-digit unit.
