Vehicle Detail
Here is my 1976 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne shortbed fleet side 2WD Pickup. It's a great little truck and has been in the family since it was new in 76. It belonged to my Inlaws dad who drove it most of its life, then he gave it to his mother who drove it under 1000 miles a year then passed it on to my brother inlaw for a few years. Now this nice little chevy is mine and I'm looking to find it a new home. I've got too many cars and my fiancé says it's time to sell them all to pay for our wedding. I believe the milage is low and accurate since its been in the family for so long. Also the inside of the bed is in very nice condition. some surface rust but hasn't been dented up or abused. most of the original paint is still there. I also found the Build sheet under the seat. its a little torn but its mostly readable. See pictures. No rips in the seat. No Rust bubbles in the paint. It will need a new headliner. See pictures Originally it came with a 454 engine but now has a 350. that was a rare option for a C10. It still has its original oversized radiator and still has the turbo Hydromatic 400 Automatic transmission. It originally came with: Heavy duty front and rear shocks,Heavy Duty ChassisEngine oil coolerTilt SteeringFrost White (Code 12L) PaintCheyenne Equipment All of the necessary smog components are there so it should theoretically pass a California Smog inspection but i'm not liable for any costs if a California buyer purchases the car. I haven't tried to have a smog test done on it yet. it might pass with flying colors. It runs great and shifts nicely. The only thing wrong with the tranny is L1 gear doesn't work. I don't know much about the transmissions so I'm not sure what the problem is. It also could probably use a tune up. It's been painted once and the paint on the hood is starting to peel (see pictures). I polished it out to a driver condition standard but could use a little touch up here and there. There are chips on the edge of the door and around the wheel wells as well and casual door dings. The front right fender has a small size dent that could easily be popped out. This is a No Reserve Auction so highest bidder gets the truck. Good luck bidding. This truck could be a super nice start for a show truck or it could be a great driver the way it is.
