Please Read! If you are looking for a "like new" vehicle that I will guarantee you can drive back to Seattle in, then please close this ad and continue searching. If you are looking for very basic transportation that should get you to work, or if you need a practice / bumper car for your teenage driver then read on. I try to be as brutally honest as I can in these descriptions, but there is no way I can catch everything. Please ask questions if you need clarification. For those of you still reading, here we go! The Good:When you turn the key, it usually starts! (how's that for a selling point?)The tires are in pretty decent shape. It doesn't look all that bad.It's a Toyota.The A/C kind of works. (keep reading for more details on this)It's never been on fire or sunk to the bottom of a lake that I know of.It's a very rare and hard to find color. Are white cars hard to find? Ok, maybe that one's a reach.It's been in my family for about 10 years. (it was a first car for my sister and 2 of my daughters)It has an extremely low reserve for such a treasured family heirloom!The Bad:If you don't drive it for a week or so, it will need jumped. Going to need a battery soon.Pinhole leak in the radiator.Front end rattles a lot. Struts I guess?The switch that controls the fan / blower is broken. (If you jiggle the switch, you might be able to toggle back and forth from nothing to arctic blast occasionally)The exhaust is complete, but it has a leak up front that makes it noisy.The check engine light is on. (the good news is that it's been on for 10 years and it's still running)It's not 4-wheel drive (dang it!)I'm sure I'm forgetting something.The Ugly:Has some rust. (it lived in the tropical climate of Ohio for a good portion of it's life)As you can see in the picture, it had paint spilled on the floor in the back seat at some point. (blame my sister)It has all kind of dings and dents. (blame my daughters)The interior looks like it's 20 years old! (oh wait, it is 20 years old)It has a really cool custom rear view mirror that I purchased at WalMart for like $6 whole dollars. (I might be willing to let it go with the car)It has a zebra heart sticker and zebra license plate holder. (again, blame my daughter) If I haven't talked you out of it yet, bid early and often.
