The body on this car is beautiful, the paint is nice, but does have some areas that are chipping and starting to rust (specifically near the truck - I added a picture that shows this area). I bought the car two years ago and installed a new water pump. It starts right up and runs well (it needs a shot of ether to start or fuel in the carb). I have only driven the car about five miles due to the transmission issue. I believe the seals in the transmission need to be replaced, but I do not have the time to do this (new job and two little kids). The car will drive when you fill the transmission with oil, but it leaks out quickly. It has the presto-matic transmission and it works as it is supposed to when filled with oil. I am selling this car with no-reserve. It is sitting in front of my house and must go prior to the snow flying. There is a hole in the headliner where it looks like there were mice at some point. The car smells like it sat in a shed for 20 years. All of the receipts from the restoration are in the glove box (I looked at them two years ago - I recall that they did a lot of work including interior, some body work, and transmission work). You cannot drive this car home due to the transmission leaking. I added a photo of the front number/grill chrome - it looks good from a distance, but could use some work. I try to be accurate, but please do not use my description as your only source of information - come see the car for yourself. This car is sold as is, where is.
