Regularly maintained, and driven every day by a mom until recently. One accident required rear tailgate and tail light to be replaced. Here is the whole story: THE GOOD: -It's a Mercedes-LOOKS GREAT -Runs and was driven daily up until recently -Auto transmission shifts fine and engine has power, runs smooth -Water pump, radiator, belt, battery, and motor mounts replaced about 1 year ago -Passed state inspection a few months ago -has working 3rd row seats -has wider tires and wheels from an ML430, giving it a nicer look. -power windows and leather seats work -6 cd changer and radio work -non-smoker, interior in good shape OK, however, at this mileage and age, it has some issues: -Power steering leak and steering rack noise (I need to refill about every 2 weeks) -Uses about a quart of synthetic oil once a month (no smoke is noticeable) -Front tires have a little tread left, rear tires have no tread. -Suspension is wobbly, likely needs new shocks, and new tires will help too. -1 door lock does not go down. They lock but one stays up. Alarms activates ok though. -Several dash lights on.....SRS, ABS, etc. -AC needs a recharge -Some rust on lower front doors and at hood emblem. BOTTOM LINE, the car can be used as a daily driver locally, as is, with fluid fill-ups and new tires. OR if you are a handy mechanic type person, you can put some work into it and make it decent, since the trans and motor are strong, and it still looks good. OR, lastly, you can part out the car for $$, selling tailgate, tail lights, doors, fenders, mirrors, engine parts, wheels….can yield lots of $$ (I don’t have the time and space to do this myself though). I’ve represented the state of this car truthfully, and therefore, the CAR IS BEING SOLD AS-IS, which means, once you win, this car is yours, AS-IS, NO RETURNS. Winning bidder must pick up car from Parsippany NJ within 1 week of auction win.
