The pictures of the truck were taken at the end of June I have a new inspection sticker on the truck now that is good until July 2016. If I buy the truck, will it get me back home? I can't guarantee a 2015 vehicle straight off the show room floor will get you home. But what I can tell you is that I used this truck as a daily driver for years. Things do wear on vehicles, but I keep my vehicles well maintained and replaced components that broke, showed signs of wear, or due to regular maintenance intervals. The reason I stopped driving it was due to gas costs and that I must drive nearly 60 miles each way on a daily basis, so I ended up buying a little aluminum can on wheels to conserve gas money. How much rust is on the truck? I don't really know how to answer that question. There isn't a rust-o-meter out there that can give a set value. It is nearly 35 years old and has been driven on roads, so it will have some amount of rust on it. But what has been a benefit to the truck is that the majority of its life was spent in Mississippi, which gets very little snow, which means it hasn't been in much road salt. The truck bed was originally wood with the metal ties to hold the wood in place, and that seems to have rusted away, which is why the owner put a metal bed on it. How is the paint on the truck? Old. It's the original exterior paint on the truck, so it has fading, scratches, ... But to be nearly 35 years old, it's held up much better that I would've thought. Are the dents on the truck from a wreck? No. I keep it in the shade of the trees, but a bad storm knocked down a few large limbs which caused the damage. Emissions disconnected? The original owner disconnected the emissions many years ago. It looks like all the equipment is there, just disconnected. I'm not an expert on emissions equipment on a 1981 Ford pick up, but it looks like the major components are there. I have no idea as to how to hook them back up. Special pictures? I no longer have access to the camera to take special pictures. I can try to answer what questions you have, but I won't be able to take special pictures. Will you drive to the Richmond airport if I buy the truck and fly down? Yes, I don't mind driving to the airport or bus station or rail station. I'll also show you the features of the truck when we meet. Will you sell me the truck at a ridiculously low price if it doesn't sell? No.
