Up for sale in El Paso,Texas is this 1966 Ford Mustang coupe. This is a running and driving PROJECT CAR that still needs work like paint,interior ect. If you are looking for a fully restored car then please look elsewhere. This is a very solid car. The floors are very solid and the quarter panels as well. It has a ton of new parts. Here is a list = new rear bumper,new tail lights and tail light bezels, new fuel tank and fuel sending unit, new fuel line from the tank all the way to the engine,new fuel pump, new water pump, new flywheel, new torque converter, new spark plugs,new accel wires,new points and condenser,new ignition switch, new starter solenoid,new brakes,new wheel cylinder and brake line hose, all which are installed on the car. I also have a new window regulator and new rear shackles that go with the car. This mustang has a good strong running 302 engine and a good working automatic transmission. The headlights, brake lights, running lights and turn signals are in good working order.It has the factory console and original steering wheel that are in real good shape.IT has a clean Texas title. This mustang was sanded down to bare metal. NO BODYWORK has been done !!! What you see is what you get. There are no surprises here. I have many pictures of this car when it was down to bare metal to prove how solid this car really is and can be seen upon request. The carburetor is a factory 2 barrel that i rebuilt,but i do not like the idle on it. I would prefer a 4 barrel with an aluminum intake to spark up the engine but i did not get around to it. All in all, this is a great car with great bones ready to be finished. Price of the car can be negotiated only within reason.This mustang is just waiting to be taken to the next level!!!
