Toyota chose to wait, and its first mini van to the US market in 1990 was actually just a courier van adapted with extra seats and carpeting, known as the Previa. By 1997 however, in typical Toyota fashion, they literally went back to the drawing board and created the Sienna, and the family minivan had a brand new icon. Sienna's are still known for having an amazing ride, thoughtful features, and that amazing Toyota reliability and longevity. This beautiful car is no exception.
