1962 Ford Galaxie 2 Door Sedan AFX Tribute 3 year, frame off restoration. Freshly rebuilt 406, 1958 Edsel machined combustion chamber heads, 1966 Police Interceptor intake, headers, Mallory dual point distribution, new carburetor, new VDO tach and Stewart Warner gauges. Rebuilt big input Top Loader RUG 4 speed with Hurst 4 speed shifter. Rebuilt 9 inch rear end with a 3.50 limited slip with period correct Traction Bars. All new interior: Seats, door panels, carpet, headliner, trunk mat, front and rear window rubbers, window runners and weather strip. 1962 Ford Arcadia Blue exterior and interior paint. Tinted factory glass. Excellent chrome and emblems. Rebuilt brakes, steering, front suspension. New dual chamber master cylinder, u-joints, shocks, exhaust with NOS Thrush Mufflers and tires. AFX modifications: Fiberglass fenders, inner fenders, rad support, gravel shield, bubble hood, front and rear bumpers, trunk mounted battery, radio and clock delete, aluminum bumper brackets. Unique 406 components: Oversized brakes, rerouted front brake lines, extra thick clutch pedal pad, extra rear leaf springs, 3/8 fuel line, 3’’ driveshaft, electric windshield wipers, 17” steering wheel, front spring spacers.
