Porsche 1973 Targa The look and performance of a real S without the pocketbook risk. One of 780 USA 1973 MFI equipped. Complete rotator restoration of 71461 mile, MFI, rust free, undamaged garage find. New E engine, never before installed in a chassis, plucked from the Porsche assembly line, sent to Porsche Northeast where it was a Porsche tech training aid. Now a 2.2, 9.75:1 JE pistons, 3.0 oil pump, oil by-pass modification, layshaft bearing mods, ARP studs, hyd tensioner update, MFI pump mods by Pacific Fuel Injection, 930 valve covers. Complete fuel system modified to tolerate ethanol blended fuel. New fuel pump relocated to under new fuel tank. Body 100% steel OEM including S front bumper. Finished in PPG 90183 (Porsche L182) Duracryl lacquer. Interior color, Porsche 968 burgundy. Autos International, leather recovered, rebuilt front seats. All weatherstripping, including glass, new. Side glass green tint. New OEM dash cover. As the pictures illustrate this is a no time or money spared labor of love looking for a new home. Only low shake down and fine tuning miles since build.
