HERE'S A FOGOTTEN HOT ROD! IT LOOKS LIKE A "GROCERCY GETTER" BUT HAS SOME HIDDEN ASSETS. THIS IS A VERY CLEAN EXAMPLE OF ONE OF PLYMOUTHS BEST IDEAS. THIS CAR IS REALLY A LOT OF FUN FOR THE MONEY. IT IS NOT, HOWEVER A NUMBERS MATCHING CAR. THE ORGINAL 318 WAS PITCHED AND A REFRESHED 318 INSTALLED. IT IS A VERY STONG MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION, NO ISSUES. IT WAS RESPRAYED A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND THE PAINT IS VERY NICE TO THIS DAY. INTERIOR WAS ALSO REFRESHED WITH NEW CARPET. THE SEATS ARE ORGINAL AND LOOK GREAT. ALL OF THE GLASS IS GOOD ALL THE WAY AROUND, NO SCRATCHES OR BLUSHING. AS YOU MAY KNOW, IN 1966 THE CHROME WAS NOT THE BEST, SO IT LOOKS A LITTLE TIRED, EXCEPT FOR THE BUMPERS, WHICH HAVE BEEN REPLACED. THE "BRIGHT WORK" IS GOOD. ALL LIGHTS/BRAKES WORK/TIRES ARE OKAY. IF I WAS TO KEEP IT, IT NEEDS A COUPLE OF THINGS. THE TRUNK GAS SHOCK THAT HOLDS IT OPEN IS MISSING. ALSO I WOULD REPLACE THE ROLL UP GLASS FELT. ALL DONE FOR UNDER $100. LIKE I SAID THE PAINT IS VERY NICE EXCEPT FOR (PICTURES) A COUPLE OF PLACES OVER THE LEFT YEAR QUARTER. THERE'S A LITTLE BIT OF BUBBLING GOING ON. I DROVE THE CUDA SATURDAY AND WHEN I CAME BACK I NOTICED A "VERY" SMALL DRIP AT THE TOP UNDERSIDE OF THE RADIATOR. I WOULD NEVER WANT TO SELL SOMETHING THAT WAS MISREPRESENTED, SO A NEW ALUMINUM RADIATOR WILL BE INSTALLED BEFORE FRIDAY END OF AUCTION. THE "STOCK" RADIATOR CAN GO WITH THE CAR AND WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF BRAZZING BE FIXED. I WOULD PREFER THE ALUMINUM ONE BUT IT WILL BE UP TO YOU.
